Studio Policies

Please read and review the policies below. 

Student Arrival

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class start time. Punctuality is part of dance training discipline.

Students are encouraged to come dressed and ready for class. All personal items must be in a dance bag.


Students should bring  their own water bottle. Water will not be available at the studio.

Student Departure

Please be courteous not be late to pick up your dancer. Maui Ballet instructors will not be responsible for students not picked up within 5 minutes after class is finished.

Tuition & Fees

  • Tuition is due and payable at the time of registration.

  • Multi-class discounts are reflected in our tuition after two classes. Families enrolling two or more students receive a 5% discount on tuition.

  • Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Tuition is based on a 4-week session.

  • Make up classes are not available at this time. If you must miss a class, please notify the administration in advance prior to the class you will miss, and we will do our best to find an alternative class during the current session.

  • Payments received after the session start date will incur a $20 late fee.

  • $25 Fee for Returned Checks.

  • Tuition will not be extended into the next session 

  • School is closed for certain holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas)

  • Our annual registration fees are $35 for the first student in a family and $20 per student for additional students from the same family. Registration fees must be paid at the time of enrollment and are non-refundable.


Dress Code


All Ballet Levels:

  • Ballet Pink Tights

  • Ballet Shoes

  • Hair in a bun

  • No Jewelry or gum chewing

Leotard Colors by Level:

Creative Pre-Ballet / Primary Ballet:

Light Pink

Ages 8 and up:  Black

Adult:  Any Color

No Jewelry or gum chewing


Dress Code


  • White T-Shirt

  • Black Shorts or Black Tights

  • Dance Belt or Supportive Underwear

  • White Socks

  • Black Ballet Slippers

Parent Observation

To minimize class disruptions and the number of individuals in the studio, parents are asked to view class from outside the studio on the lanai. For our youngest dancers, adjustments can be made to make them feel comfortable.
